Of course, our signature part of the event is on Saturday - The May Days Parade kicks off at 11AM sharp from the YMCA, continues down Rutland Road and exits through Centennial Park! This year looks like it's going to be the biggest, loudest parade in recent history! Make sure you grab your spot along the parade route! Hey, want to be in the parade, there is still time! Shooting Star Amusements is back with their ever popular midway rides, promising rides for all ages! Get your midway wristbands now and SAVE!!!! Wristbands are available at Save-On-Foods in Rutland and Glenmore, Urban Fare in the Mission and at WS Accounting Services on Asher Road!
Don't forget, this year celebrates the 150th anniversary of Confederation!Our friends at the Rutland Residents' Association have set up a local history museum celebrating Rutland and our great history. Did you know that Rutland Centennial Hall is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year and was built as a project celebrating the 100th year of Confederation.
Also back is the MAY POLE! Yes, thanks to our friends at the KPA, there will be a May Pole Dance and celebration Saturday at 2PM! It can't be missed.
Big West Wrestling is also back.. There are unconfirmed reports of a big name grudge match scheduled, of course that is just a rumour, you have to be there to find out! Shows slated throughout the weekend!

Did we mention the food! Yes, the Annual pancake breakfast is being put on by the Knights of Columbus but OMG! The food trucks! Delectable goodies for everyone's taste! Grab a bite and stroll through the May Days Market - vendors from near and far with all sorts of neat treasures only available together at May Days! After all the excitement and bustle, the take a breather in the beer gardens, just adjacent the main stage! Talk about location!
What about the main stage... we will have a variety of performers all weekend with something for everyone! Be sure to keep your eyes open for the entertainment schedule - it's been said that the members of the Kelowna Pipe Band don't wear anything under their kilts - catch them on stage and find out!
The fun never stops all weekend long! The gates open Friday afternoon and keep going till Sunday!
